Harmless to people and animals

Our products have been shown to be completely safe for humans. Independent toxicity testing has been done to investigate the impact on the skin, eye irritation and swallowing. The results showed that there are no health risks from exposure to the product.

No precautions need to be taken before using the products and no special actions are required if they are accidentally swallowed , get on the skin or in your eyes.

The products have been used in treating drinking water (mainly used by animals) for several years. Many millions of chickens have drunk water treated in this way throughout their lives. And several of us have drunk it regularly without any adverse effects – although it doesn’t taste very nice in concentrated form.


Harmless to the environment

The active ingredients of our products are water and salt. The active ingredient is de-activated as it does its biocidal job. What is left is simply salty water which just run away down the drain. Our products are therefore completely harmless to the environment.

They also do not have any adverse impact on most surfaces they come into contact. Moreover, because they are very fast-acting they do not need to remain in place for long. In concentrated form, it can damage brass and it is therefore best not to leave it in contact with this material for long periods; and we recommend using stainless steel fittings if the concentrated product is to be used with plumbing.
