How we produce it

Aqualution® proprietary technology generates Hypochlorous acid (the chemical which the human body uses to fight pathogens) through a combination of electrolysis and ion exchange technology to produce a highly effective biocide

The inputs required are

• Water
• Salt
• Electricity

The equipment used to generate the biocide produces no hazardous by-products and no special measures are needed to protect the environment from waste products or for the handling of the product. The pH of the product can be adjusted to some etxent to accomodate differing requirements.

Because Hypochlorous acid is generally unstable, it can be most simply used at the point of production. For this reason, Aqualution® generating machines have been produced with the capability for remote monitoring so that we can ensure that the system continues to operate effectively and is being properly managed.

However, Aqualution Systems Ltd has been uniquely successful in developing processes for manufacturing the biocide which make it stable without compromising its effectiveness. We have so far been able to demonstrate that these products have a shelf-life of 2 years – and counting. As a result we are able to offer product in presentations which can be chosen to suit the application including:

• On-site generation for high volumes
• 1000 litre IBCs
• 25 litre drums
• 1 litre bottles
• 750ml or 500ml spray bottles
• Impregnated wipes
